Replacement and substitute guidance

The safest direct replacement is another EPH V228P 28mm 2-port valve body. For a complete-valve replacement, installers may also compare equivalent 28mm 2-port motorised valves from Honeywell/Resideo, Drayton, Danfoss and similar heating-control manufacturers.

Compatibility is not guaranteed from pipe size alone. Before ordering, compare the face-to-face length, compression size, flow direction, spindle or actuator coupling, operating voltage and wiring requirements. Actuator heads from other brands should not be assumed to fit this body.

Please check the model markings, dimensions and photographs carefully. Installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified heating engineer.
